In order to quickly turn the table in your favor, you need to develop a system that allows you to farm more gold in less time than your opponents. In the months since the release of Age of Conan, Chinese Gold Farmers have emerged. These people spend their entire in game life farming gold in order to resell it to other players for real cash.
Having more gold means you can start a new guild and make it more successful and more powerful than you would be able to do if you had no gold.
True to the Conan lore and creation of Robert E. Howard, many characters from the Conan comics and movies will appear in the game. Funcom collaborates with Paradox Entertainment, who owns the Conan IP, to fuse great story elements to the game. Current storyline in the world of Conan outside gaming is set to be merged with the game.
